Risk Solver - Ribbon User InterfaceRibbon User Interface Makes Functions Easy to DiscoverRisk Solver takes full advantage of the new, Ribbon-based user interface used throughout Office 2007. The Ribbon and its dropdown galleries make it exceptionally easy for you to "discover" Risk Solver's many functions. But what if you're using Excel 2003, Excel XP or Excel 2000? You can still use the Risk Solver Ribbon! It works identically in these Excel versions -- except that it "floats" in any position you want, instead of "docking" at the top of the window. When you hover the mouse over the Ribbon, you get super tooltips that explain your options, instead of too-brief toolbar tips. Just click a button on the Ribbon to display a dropdown gallery of more choices.
Right-Click Context Menus Make Functions Quick to UseBut what if you don't like the Ribbon? Or you've used it long enough to learn what's available, so now you want to work as close to your actual model as possible? That's easy in Risk Solver, too. Just right-click any cell on your worksheet, and choose the Risk Solver submenu. Everything on the Ribbon is available on this menu as well. |
