RASON Desktop can also import input values directly from a Microsoft Excel workbook. This is useful when model inputs are maintained in Excel tables or named ranges.
This section is divided into two parts. The first part walks through modifying the productmix4.json example so that it imports its input data from Excel instead of using fixed data defined directly in the model. The second part documents the use of a separate JSON file that already includes the completed Excel import setup.
