Just a month after releasing Analytic Solver V2025 Q4 with its enhanced AI Agent and other new features, we've made available a "point release" with further enhancements.
New Major Release of Gurobi Solver Engine
Gurobi Optimization released a major upgrade of the Gurobi Solver, their Version 13, on November 13. This was 9 days after our Analytic Solver V2025 Q4 release, so we couldn't include it at that time, but we've quickly finalized testing and released our Gurobi Solver Engine based on Gurobi V13. This new version features modest (1% - 8%) overall speed improvements on LP and MIP (linear mixed-integer) problems, but significant speedups (5% - 26%) on convex quadratic mixed-integer problems, and major speedups (55% - 270%) on non-convex quadratic and general nonlinear problems. Gurobi V13 also includes other enhancements, such as new nonlinear primitives and a new nonlinear barrier method, but we've done the work to use these enhancements via Excel's formula language. Just create your model as usual in Excel, and you'll get the benefits!
New Release of Knitro Solver Engine
Artelys has just released a new upgrade of the Knitro Solver, their Version 14.2. This release offers better performance on some important classes of nonlinear optimization problems, such as "nonlinear packing" problems, often twice as fast, and "nonlinear pooling" problems (arising in mining, oil & gas, and water utilities), about 35% faster than before. Our latest point release includes this new Knitro Solver version, fully integrated with Excel's formula language.
Simpler Registration for Analytic Solver Free Trials
Also in our latest point release is a simplified registration form, for users who "found" Analytic Solver on Microsoft AppSource, or within Excel itself as a "modern Office add-in". We've minimized the number of required form fields, and focused on the intent of new Analytic Solver trial users:

If you're using Analytic Solver Cloud version, the latest "point release" is available immediately -- you don't have to do anything. If you're using Analytic Solver Desktop version, you're in the right place to get this latest point release -- just login and click the Download link in the top blue menu bar, then follow the instructions to download and run the SolverSetup program. In just a minute or two, you'll be "up and running" with the latest release -- enjoy it!
