RASON Cloud Settings

For RASON Desktop Cloud users, the RASON settings page contains the connection information used to solve models through the RASON cloud API. To open these settings, select Manage > Settings > Extensions > RASON Desktop.

RASON Desktop Settings

  • Auth Token is the bearer token used to authenticate with the RASON REST API. This token is required for cloud solving and account access.
  • Cloud Solver URI specifies the base URL of the RASON cloud server.
  • Local Solver Path is used only for local solving and is not required for RASON Desktop Cloud users.
  • Solver Mode controls where the model is solved. For cloud users, select a cloud solving option instead of Local.

RASON MCP Settings

The RASON MCP Settings page contains configuration options for Frontline’s MCP Server.

  • Result Array Limit controls the maximum number of array elements or DataFrame rows included in MCP results before the response is summarized.
  • Result Size Limit controls the maximum number of characters returned from MCP solve results before the response is truncated.
