The Hexaly Solver is a plug-in Solver Engine that extends Analytic Solver Optimization or Comprehensive. Based on a world-class implementation of exact and heuristic search methods plus advanced constraint propagation and reformulation techniques, it is Frontline's most versatile Solver Engine, solving linear, integer, quadratic, conic, smooth nonlinear, and even non-smooth optimization problems far larger than the standard Excel Solver, or even Analytic Solver Platform alone -- with no fixed limits on variables and constraints. Exact methods (branch-and-bound, branch-and-cut, simplex, interior-point) provide global optimality and strong bounds, while heuristic methods (VNS, LNS, local search) deliver fast, high-quality solutions when optimality is hard to prove. Constraint propagation and reformulation reduces problem size and improve search efficiency. Your license is good for use only in Analytic Solver for Excel.
