  • 2. Solver cannot improve the current solution. All constraints are satisfied.
  • 3. Stop chosen when the maximum iteration limit was reached.
  • 4. The objective (Set Cell) values do not converge.
  • 5. Solver could not find a feasible solution.
  • 6. Solver stopped at user’s request.
  • 7. The linearity conditions required by this Solver engine are not satisfied.
  • 8. The problem is too large for Solver to handle.
  • 9. Solver encountered an error value in a target or constraint cell.
  • 10. Stop chosen when the maximum time limit was reached.
  • 11. There is not enough memory available to solve the problem.
  • 12. Error condition at cell address. Edit your formulas, or use Excel Interpreter in the Solver Model dialog.
  • 13. Error in model. Please verify that all cells and constraints are valid.
  • 14. Solver found an integer solution within tolerance. All constraints are satisfied.
  • 15. Stop chosen when the maximum number of feasible [integer] solutions was reached.
  • 16. Stop chosen when the max number of feasible [integer] subproblems was reached.
  • 17. Solver converged in probability to a global solution.
  • 18. All variables must have both upper and lower bounds.
  • 19. Variable bounds conflict in binary or alldifferent constraint.
  • 20. Lower and upper bounds on variables allow no feasible solution.

  • 1001. Function cannot be evaluated for given real or interval arguments. (Interval Solver)
  • 1001. MOSEK Solver requires Solve With Structure or Automatic.
  • 1001. Unable to allocate enough memory for analytic 2nd derivatives. Choose a different Second Derivatives Option. (Knitro Engine)
  • 1001.  Integer Cutoff makes problem infeasible. (Gurobi Engine)
  • 1001.  Multiple groups of “alldifferent” variables. (OptQuest Engine)
  • 1001.  Objective worse than Cutoff. (Xpress Engine)
  • 1002, 1293, 1234, 1295, 1296. The problem cannot be solved and is likely nonconvex. (Mosek Engine)
  • 1002. A variable can only appear in one AllDifferent constraint. (OptQuest Engine)
  • 1002. Solution found, but not proven globally optimal. (Interval Global Solver)
  • 1002.  Global search incomplete – no integer solution was found. (Xpress Engine)
  • 1002.  Model is unbounded or infeasible. (Gurobi Solver)
  • 1003.  Global search incomplete – an integer solution was found.
  • 1004.  Quadratic Objective is not positive definite. (Xpress Engine)

  • 1005. Model does not appear to be convex. (Xpress Solver)
  • 1005.  Unable to satisfy optimality tolerances; a sub-optimal solution is available. (Gurobi Engine)
  • 1006. Quadratic objective is not positive semi-definite. (Gurobi Engine)
  • 1017. Insufficient memory for basis matrix. Problem is too big for LSGRG.
  • 1040. Too many new nonzero Jacobian entries. Choose a different starting point.
  • 2009. Variable bounds are conflicting.
  • 5002. Optimal solution found.
  • 10001.  Out of memory. (Gurobi Engine)
